On May 9, Ben Cat Town Justice Office in collaboration with Tan Dinh ward and Binh Phu Junior High School organized the dissemination of the Law on Children, prevention of accidents and injuries and child abuse.

Students of Binh Phu Junior High School participate in the law dissemination session.

At this session, representatives of the Town Justice Office introduced some basic provisions of the Law on Children, such as: skills to prevent and combat accidents and injuries and abuse of children; responsibilities of agencies, organizations, educational institutions, families and individuals in the prevention and control of accidents, injuries and abuse of children. Representatives of the town's Justice Office also taught some self-defense skills for children to protect themselves when at risk of abuse.

This was a meaningful and practical activity that helped students improve their legal understanding of their basic rights and obligations; develop skills to prevent and combat accidents, injuries and sexual assaults; step by step raise awareness, responsibility, sense of respect and observance of the law, creating a foundation to build good citizens for the country.
