Bending on removing obstacles in business investment

On the afternoon of July 13, Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired the 40th session of provincial People's Committee. The session was attended by Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Pernament Vice- Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Danh, Vice- Chairman of provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, sectors, districts, towns and cities in the province.

At the session, leaders of provincial departments and sectors presented and discussed contents on procedures for granting investment registration certificates for projects in the fields of education, healthcare, trade and services; the draft decision to promulgate the process of applying risk management and the set of risk assessment criteria for monitoring and supervising the operations of enterprises; the draft plan to improve and raise the provincial competitiveness index (PCI) in the period of 2023-2025; solutions to solve obstacles in attracting investment in industrial parks; the urban green tree project in the province; the decision promulgating the charter of organization and operation of provincial Environmental Protection Fund…

Concluding the session, Mr. Minh agreed with the contents, drafts and reports of departments and sectors while  emphasizing that there are still many difficulties in the situation of production and business, so the removal of and enterprises’ obstacles is considered as a key task. All are for the common benefit of the local socio-economic development. During the process of licensing projects, localities need to consider and deal with projects within their competence and promptly propose issues beyond their competence.
