Binh Duong accounts for 8.6% of country’s FDI capital

The figure has just been released by the General Statistics Office (GSO) at a conference on socio-economic development in Q1, 2019.

Representative of the GSO said that as of March 20, Vietnam granted 785 new investment licences to projects with a total registered capital of US$3.8billion, up 27% in project number and 80.1% in capital amount over the same period of 2018.

Also during the period, as many as 279 FDI projects registered to adjust their capital with a combined additional capital of US$1.3billion, down 27.3% compared to the same period last year.

Bac Ninh took the lead nationwide in FDI attraction with US$455.7million, or 11.9% of total. It was followed by Binh Duong with US$329.6million or 8.6%; HCM city with US$288.8million or 7.6%; Da Nang with US$249.8million or 6.5% of total…
