On the afternoon of July 5, Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee met with Kamada Toshitaka, CEO of Makita Vietnam Co., Ltd.
During the reception, Kamada Toshitaka shared that Makita Vietnam was established in 2009. To date, Makita Vietnam has 9 branches nationwide, with over 3,000 stores. The company's revenue in 2009 was about VND 289 billion, which increased to VND 717 billion in 2023, and is expected to reach VND 950 billion in 2024. Mr. Kamada Toshitaka also mentioned that Makita plans to expand its warehouse capacity and build additional factories in Vietnam to meet business demands, with expected additional investment of VND 250 billion.
Mr. Minh stated that in the face of Makita's need to expand land rental at the VSIP III, Binh Duong province will create the most favorable conditions for Makita Vietnam to complete required procedures under the regulations.
