The August Revolution succeeded, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was born. Our country, our people entered a new era - the era of national independence and socialism. Over the past 77 years, under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Party, government and people of Thu Dau Mot - Song Be - Binh Duong upheld the heroic revolutionary tradition, overcame many difficulties and set up many victories in the cause of national liberation, construction and defense. This achievement is a solid foundation for Binh Duong and the whole country to realize the goal of building up a prosperous and happy country.

Industrialization further spreading

Tru Van Tho commune in Bau Bang district is far from the center of the province. In recent years, this purely agricultural commune has transformed and developed strongly. Currently, the whole commune has more than 30 companies operating stably, creating jobs for many workers. In particular, the commune’s trade - service and construction activities have developed rapidly. The commune’s economic structure has changed strongly in the direction of industry, urbanism and services, which has contributed to making the local rural appearance change day by day. The material and spiritual lives of the local people have been continuously improved.

An overview of Binh Duong new city, new driving force for the province's development

Nguyen Minh Hieu, Secretary of Tru Van Tho commune’s Party Committee excitedly said that the commune’s results in socio-economic development over the past time came from the local efforts in new-style rural construction. Besides, the commune’s industrial production and trade - service development contributed to accelerating the local economic restructuring, bringing stable income to people.

Industrial development has brought a new vitality to the land that was previously difficult like Bau Bang district. Vo Thanh Giau, Chairman of Bau Bang district’s People's Committee affirmed that the province’s policy of bringing industrial manufacture to the northern region has created favorable conditions for the district to accelerate the process of economic restructuring towards industrial, urban and service development. The highlight is Bau Bang Industrial - Urban Park with methodical and modern investment plus outstanding utilities. The industrial - urban park has quickly become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors as soon as it came into operation. Therefore, Bau Bang has been among the province’s top localities in terms of investment attraction and industrial growth. Up to now, the district has attracted over 1,000 domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of over VND 40trillion and over 200 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over US$4.6 billion. These are very significant figures for a district that has been established for less than 10 years.

With advantages in terms of geographical position plus a modern and synchronous infrastructure system, Bau Bang district is constantly rising in the process of industrialization and modernization. The locality is making efforts towards the goal of becoming a modern industrial hub and a nucleus in the province's Innovation Zone by 2030.

Concretizing aspiration to rise

Upholding the victorious spirit of the August Revolution and the two long wars of resistance against the colonialists and imperialists, the Party Committee and people of Song Be - Binh Duong have promoted the heroic revolutionary tradition, jointly established many new victories on the front of socio-economic development, helping Song Be - Binh Duong from the fierce battlefields of the war with landmarks associated with historical victories, become the land of exploits in socio-economic development.

The achievements done by the Party Committee, authorities and people of Song Be - Binh Duong province, especially after 25 years of construction and development, have made Binh Duong become a industrial province with dynamic development in the southern key economic region, a modern urban-industrial hub with efforts in smart city construction.

At the scientific conference on "Following the tradition, Binh Duong province with a quarter-century journey”, Prof- Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council affirmed: “Along with the country's renovation process, following the leading localities in the transition to the market mechanism, Binh Duong has become a model of opening up, attracting investment and conducting industrialization and urbanization. Inheriting the achievements of Song Be province, upholding the local potential and advantages and being facilitated by central mechanisms and policies, Binh Duong has chosen new, creative and right ways to become one of the country’s most successful development localities…”.

2022 is the second year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 11th provincial Party Congress, with a profound awareness of opportunities and challenges, the Party Committee, authorities and people of Binh Duong are further realizing the set goals on the basis of flexibly and creatively applying guidelines and policies, understanding and applying modern scientific and technological achievements, seeking resonance and companionship from neighboring provinces, cities, countries and territories to continue developing to new heights.

In 2022 and the following years, the province will focus on implementing tasks and solutions for fast and sustainable development under the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh when visiting and working with the province's key officials in late April 2022. Accordingly, the province has further grasped and concretized in the spirit of self-reliance, being more proactive in implementing the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; implemented the 5-year plan, 10-year strategy, the Resolution of the provincial Party Congress; focused on developing the industrial ecosystem in the green, smart, sustainable, inclusive direction, leaving no one behind. The province has focused on stronger digital transformation, building up a digital society and digital citizens; promoted administrative reform, preserve and upheld cultural values, maintained political security, social order and safety...
