Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc youngsters follow tradition, firmly stepping into future

On March 20, the Youth Unions of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces coordinated with the Managing Board of Song Be - Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc Youth Union cadres’ Club to organize a get-together to celebrate the 92^nd anniversary of  Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2023) in the heroic Dau Tieng hometown.

Sentimental attachment connection

The annual get-together of generations of Song Be - Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc Youth Union officials was a very meaningful event between leaders of all-level Party committees, authorities and the Youth Unions of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces. This activity aimed at connecting more closely the sentimental attachment; was an opportunity for the generations of Youth Union officials to meet, exchange and connect with the young generation of the two provinces, former Youth Union officials and incumbent Youth Union officials; was to fire up the revolutionary tradition of generations of Youth Union cadres over periods.

At the get-together, Youth Union members had the opportunity to meet with Youth Union officials of the two provinces over periods with the process of dedicating, training, going through many challenges and being trusted by the Party and State to assign them to take on many important positions. During the past 26 years, the get-together contributed to strongly promoting the spirit of solidarity, attachment and mutual support between the Party Committees, authorities and people of the two provinces Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc; between the provincial Youth Union Standing Committees and the Youth Unions at all levels of the two provinces, thereby helping the youngsters of the two localities review the revolutionary tradition of the Youth Union to be proud of the glorious tradition of the Youth Union and young people of Song Be, Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc over periods. The get-together was also meaningful. The previous generations inspired young people to continue the tradition of their forefathers, firmly stepping into the future, contributing to the cause of building the nation, building two prosperous and developing provinces.

Following tradition…

The get-together held at the relic of the French colonial rubber village was an opportunity for the youth of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc to remember the movements of the pre-uprising period, heroic young people during the two resistance wars, voluntary activities for the community,  greatly contributing to the cause of national liberation, construction and defense. The young people of the two provinces were also grateful and proud of the glorious tradition and achievements of youngsters of Song Be, Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc over periods.

Upholding that tradition, the Youth Union work and youth movement in the two provinces of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc have always closely followed the political tasks and real situation of the two localities. The Youth Unions of the two provinces have actively, creatively, and voluntarily participated in socio-economic development, volunteering for the sake of community. With the tradition of solidarity, the Youth Unions of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc have supported each other for mutual development. Many friendship activities, including the “Sharing Song Be River” camping festival, “Spring Volunteer” campaigns, “Border March” program, Volunteer Summer campaign...have been maintained and carried out regularly by the two units.

Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Youth Union said: “The Youth Union Standing Committees and the youth of the two provinces are deeply grateful for the attention to leadership, orientation and education of the Party and State, the Party Committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Fatherland Front Committees of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces; sincerely grateful for the affection and valuable contributions of the generations of Song Be - Binh Duong - Binh Phuoc Youth Union cadres over periods. Through this meaningful get-together, young people of the two provinces are more and more aware that: The historical mission of today's youth is to build up a richer and stronger nation on a par with major powers of the five continents as Uncle Ho’ desire. Each Youth Union member needs to strive to train, be proactive to equip necessary integration knowledge and skills and always train the will and energy to overcome difficulties, actively participate in social reality to always progress and contribute the youth strength to the homeland…”.
