Binh Duong boosts cultural industries to 2020, vision to 2017

Provincial People’s Committee has just promulgated the Plan No.3536/KH-UBND on developing the local cultural industries to 2020 and vision to 2030.

Accordingly, in the 2017-2020 period, the province will focus on developing some fields in advertising, cultural tourism, movie, television and radio, software and entertainment games that are in line with the local socio-economic and cultural features; effectively tap the local ecological tourism potential along Saigon, Dong Nai rivers and Cau mountain in Dau Tieng district; step by step increase the proportion of tourism in the local economic structure.

In the period of 2021 and 2030, the province will strive to increase revenue of cultural industries with their contribution accounting for 1.5%-2% of the local GRDP value. The local tourism sector will also reach the annual growth of 10% in revenue and 6.41% in number of tourists…
