The action plan on climate change control’s goal is based on Resolution 24/NQ-TW dated June 3, 2013. Till 2020, Binh Duong province will basically implement measures in conformity with impacts of climate change, ensuring safety for human’s life and asset, creating basic changes of land management, exploiting and using minerals effectively and sustainably. Environmental protection must focus on improving quality of environment to build Binh Duong into better living environment.

Concluding the session, the provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung affirmed that this is a program requiring participation of agencies and localities and people. In addition, he asked the provincial department of Natural Resources and Environment to adjust the draft, focusing on forecast on climate change, spurring promulgation to raise agencies and businesses’ awareness on environmental protection.
