On August 29, the 23rd Binh Duong Provincial Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Grandchildren was solemnly held at Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. This is an important event for children in the province, an opportunity for them to present their achievements to the Party and Uncle Ho in the past three years.

Le Tuan Anh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of Provincial HYPO Council, said that in the past three years, Standing Board of the Provincial Youth Union and Provincial HYPO Council continued to perform well the education work for children through HYPO movements and activities; the most prominent was the movement "Children of Binh Duong do their best to follow the 5 things taught by Uncle Ho", a thorough movement of HYPO, contributing to the education about revolutionary ideals, morality, and cultural lifestyle for children. HYPO Councils at all levels concretized this movement into educational programs and activities encouraging children to follow the 5 Uncle Ho’s teachings, combined with children's daily learning and training.

Accordingly, good study emulation movements, such as "Flower scores 10", "Good class", "Good study week", "Friends learn well together", "Read and follow HYPO newspaper"... are maintained by HYPO units. In particular, the children has chances to promote their creativity and passion for scientific research through many useful playgrounds and competitions, such as creative experiences, STEM experiences, and the playground "I love science - young technology talents”; contests "Creativity for teenagers and children", young computer competition...

Besides, teenagers and children were also instructed to use and exploit the internet to serve their healthy learning and entertainment needs through training sessions and talks on improving digital capabilities in the present era. From the school year 2021-2022, the Provincial HYPO Council has applied the digital transformation to evaluate training results of team members through applications developed by the Central HYPO Council. The Youth Union and HYPO levels in the province have also had many programs and activities to improve their digital capabilities, such as "Online weekend playground", visit to "Digital Museum", organizing for children to participate in online competitions; organizing seminars, forums on solutions to improve children's digital capacity...

In addition to developing new ways of doing things, the HYPO still maintained and effectively developed long-standing movements, such as "Thousands of Good Deeds", "Small Plans", "Tran Quoc Toan"... The movements have contributed to enriching and diversifying HYPO activities; serve as a basis for HYPO Councils at all levels to evaluate and honor the title of Uncle Ho's good children every year. In the past 3 school years, nearly 500,000 examples of HYPO members and children across the province were honored with the title Uncle Ho's good children at all levels.

The work of caring for children, especially children having extremely difficult circumstances, and children of young workers is regularly performed by Youth Union - HYPO at all levels, in which the peak is on new school year, Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, International Children's Day, Action Month for Children... In the past three school years, 83,000 children having difficult circumstances were supported and received a total nearly VND41 billion. Some remarkable projects such as "Realizing green dream - go to the future with children" helping more than 16,000 children during the Covid-19 pandemic, with a total support value of more than VND10 billion; nearly 50 amusement parks were built for children; 16 houses were built; more than 200 long-term sponsorships for children affected by Covid-19…

With the theme "Binh Duong children - study well, practice hard - become the Party's hope", the 23rd Binh Duong provincial Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in 2023 commended 200 typical examples from 9 districts, towns and cities in the province, including 99 representatives of primary schools and 101 delegates of junior high schools. In which, 95 delegates are good examples of good study and diligence, excellently participating in HYPO movements; 45 examples of “doing thousands of good deeds” at all levels; 7 examples of overcoming difficulties and studying well; 43 good HYPO leaders; 10 typical young talents.

This year, delegates of Uncle Ho's good children in the province all had outstanding achievements. They received Kim Dong award - the highest prize of a HYPO member awarded by the Central Youth Union. Besides, many of them are excellent HYPO members in study, participating and winning high prizes in national competitions; many of them are young talents in many fields... They are also excellent and comprehensive delegates who not only study well but also participate excellently in HYPO movements, have many outstanding achievements, and receive certificates of merit from Youth Union - HYPO; are excellent HYPO Captains, "Hero of a Thousand Good Deeds", "Master of Small Plans"… Most of all, there are children who have difficult circumstances but always strive to overcome difficulties and rise up, achieved many achievements in learning, training...

All children are fresh flowers beautifying the flower garden with thousands of good deeds that Binh Duong children wish to offer to the Party and dear Uncle Ho.
