In order to create good conditions for students and members to perform well 5 things taught by Uncle Ho, provincial HYPO Council at all levels has organized many practical activities for students to learn, train themselves and develop comprehensively.

Provincial HYPO Council present a children's playing ground to Thuan An City HYPO in Youth Month 2020.

Tran Bao Lam, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of Provincial HYPO Council, said that during the last school year, provincial HYPO Council directed to enhance movement activities at grassroots units, thereby creating a playground, contributing to improving the quality of activities for students. HYPO activities associated with the movement "Binh Duong children strive to follow the five things taught by Uncle Ho" were implemented from provincial to grassroots levels, since then, there were many good models, effective and practical ways, creating spillover effects in society, meeting local practical situation requirements.

The first thing taught by Uncle Ho is to "Love the country, love the people", therefore, HYPO teams in the province focus on the education for students and members on the history and revolutionary traditions of the nation, Communist Party of Vietnam, organizations of Youth Union and HYPO through Monday meetings, thematic activities, extracurricular hours, radio programs. Meanwhile, during the last school year, HYPO Council at all levels organized 234 journeys to "red addresses", journeys "I love Vietnam" associated with the great anniversaries of the country; paid visits to Vietnamese heroic mothers and policy families; organize solidarity and gratitude activities helping people having difficult circumstances.

The most important duty of students is learning. Therefore, HYPO Council at all levels encouraged units and students to actively learn and train; maintain and improve the effectiveness of emulation movements and activities, such as: Emulation movements of 10 marks, good class, good study week, learning couples, clean notebooks etc. At the same time, in order to arouse the creativity of children, Provincial HYPO Council also cooperated with departments and agencies to held the 15th Creativity contest for children in Binh Duong province to help them develop, promote creativity, passion for scientific research. Activities to help shape and develop reading culture among children were also held regularly.

Studying and following Uncle Ho on loving the people, students and members in the province actively participated in movements of small plan, helping friends go to school, raising piggy banks etc. to maintain Kim Dong Fund, "Ho Van Men - Lighting up the Dream" scholarship fund to help disadvantaged children... Prominent activities to care for disadvantaged children were done by Thuan An City HYPO Council. Pham Nguyen Phuong Tha, Deputy Secretary of Thuan An City Youth Union, Chairwoman of Thuan An City HYPO, said: A program named Spring Tree for children is carried out annually by the City HYPO Council and has brought many practical effects. This year, the program has awarded a total of more than 5,000 gifts and scholarships to disadvantaged children worth nearly VND2 billion. In particular, the City HYPO Council awarded Ho Van Men scholarships to students who overcome difficulties to study well, presented "lucky money" to students of compassion classes, children at hospitals. Additionally, HYPO teams carried out effective fundraising programs in various forms, such as music programs, piggy bank, lottery... to help children overcome difficulties".

In order to create a friendly learning environment, educating children on the virtues of "humility, honesty, courage", HYPO Council at all levels organized special activities "Building beautiful friendships, saying no to school violence”, “Every week one beautiful story, one good example, one good book” during flag salute ceremonies at the beginning of a week, HYPO team activities; communicates and educated children on strictly implementing school rules and discipline, law observance, prevention of social evils, maintenance of traffic order and safety, especially at school gates, during flag salute ceremonies, training programs, contests...

In addition, activities to train social practice skills, skills to prevent school violence, drowning, injuries for units and students were also organized regularly along with the maintenance, expansion of clubs, models of social practice skills training for children and children's summer camps at all levels, especially effective models such as "Military semester", "Learning to be a police officer", "Pink term ", "One day I am a firefighter, summer camp "Active teenagers learn good things"...

From the beginning of this school year, provincial HYPO Council at all levels has awarded 21 playing grounds to children in remote areas, lodging houses in and outside the province; presented 4 "red scarf" houses to disadvantaged young members inside and outside the province; awarded 412 scholarships "Wings of dreams of Binh Duong children" to children who overcome difficulties to study well in the province with a total value of more than VND311 million.
