Binh Duong continues taking lead in national women’s cycling journey after 4 stages

Two cyclists Vo Thi Phuong and Nguyen Thuy Dung of Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and Environment Company (Biwase) had a good performance at the fourth stage of the National Women’s Cycling Tournament – the An Giang Television Cup 2014, which was a 33.6km course around Vo Van Kiet Avenue in Vinh Long city.

Their good performance helped Binh Duong keep taking the lead in the team ranking after four stages. Particularly, Vo Phuong Phi came second at the sixth round of the fourth stage while Nguyen Thuy Dung finished third at the fourth stage. National team member Nguyen Thi That of Hat Gao Ngoc Troi won the fourth in a time of 55:39, reaching an average speed of 36.226km/hr. It was followed by Nguyen Thi Thanh of Imexpharm Dong Thap 1 and Nguyen Thuy Dung of Biwase, respectively.

Today, cyclists will take part in the fifth stage from Vinh Long city to Vi Thanh city in Hau Giang province over 87 km.
