Binh Duong creates optimal conditions for enterprises’investment

On the afternoon of September 8, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee received Dao Duyet Quan, Chairman of Oupu Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.; Ha Chi Binh, Chairman of the Anhui Entrepreneurs Association in China, Chairman of Gia Thanh Vietnam Chemicals and Pigments Co., Ltd., and a delegation of businesses from Anhui province, China. The delegation’s purpose of the meeting was to learn about investment opportunities and promote trade cooperation in Binh Duong.

Addressing the reception, Mr. Thao shared that Binh Duong currently has 550 Chinese-invested projects with total capital of US$1.7 billion, accounting for 13% of the province’s total projects and 4% of the province’s total foreign direct investment (FDI). In recent years, Binh Duong has actively expanded bilateral and multilateral cooperation across various fields. The province has recently approved its development plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, featuring clear development orientations in specific areas and sectors. Additionally, Binh Duong is actively promoting digital transformation, building up a digital government, digital economy and digital society while fostering a new ecosystem to drive development trends.

Mr. Quan said that the Anhui business delegation visited many places in Binh Duong and witnessed the strong development of Chinese enterprises in the province.
