Binh Duong Customs accompanies enterprises to extend effective assistance

Continuing to support enterprises to develop production and business operations to improve competitiveness, Binh Duong Customs Department, over the past time, has had many solutions to strive to accompany businesses, especially actively organizing dialogue conferences to directly listen, share and promptly solve problems for businesses in the process of carrying out customs procedures.

VSIP Customs Branch and Viet Huong Industrial Park Customs Branch held a dialogue conference with enterprises that are producing, trading and investing in the province.

24/7 convenience

The leader of Binh Duong Customs Department said that in 2023, Binh Duong Customs Department will continue to remain in the top position in terms of administrative reforms, customs modernization, and facilitation for import and export activities in the locality. Up to now, almost all procedures, interactions, and document processing for businesses have been carried out in a 24/7 network environment. According to Binh Duong Customs Department, currently 100% of basic customs procedures have been automated; 100% of Customs Sub-Departments carry out electronic customs procedures with 99% of enterprises participating. The declaration, receipt, information processing and customs clearance decisions are made with a very high degree of automation as the customs processing time is only 1-3 seconds.

In 2023, the world situation continues to be unfavorable and unpredictable, evidenced by the economic growth, global inflation and others that have had a direct impact on and greatly affected all fields. Enterprises are facing many problems in production and import and export activities as well as the implementation of political tasks of the units. However, with the determination to strive to collect more than VND 20,200 billion from the industry and province in 2023, Binh Duong Customs Department has , right from the beginning of the year, built a group of tasks, specific solutions, and at the same time assigned tasks to each unit so that they can proactively and effectively implement.

With the motto of "always standing with the business community", Binh Duong Customs Department strengthens meetings and dialogues to solve problems by prompt solutions to support and guide Customs Branches to implement appropriate and flexible customs management measures in order to create favorable conditions for enterprises to import and export goods and ensure customs management. Binh Duong Customs Department is keeping on to grasp information, monitor the situation of production and business activities of enterprises to grasp the situation of enterprises' revenue to promptly find ways to remove obstacles and create favorable conditions for enterprises to meet most beneficial conditions for import and export enterprises.

Listen to extend effective support

Cooperation and partnership between customs - businesses in the province have always been closely directed by Binh Duong Customs Department and constantly innovated methods as well as improved efficiency of dialogue. Thanks to the increasingly improved investment environment, Binh Duong has attracted many domestic and foreign enterprises interested in investment. Thereby, the number of enterprises participating in import and export activities in the province has grown rapidly in both quantity and scale, especially the group of FDI enterprises. To help businesses understand the regulations related to customs, Binh Duong Customs Department also regularly organizes dialogues, contacts and works with businesses to listen and find understand and share difficulties and problems of enterprises. In parallel with the direct dialogue conference at the Department and its affiliated branches, the unit maintains effective operation of groups to deal with difficulties and problems, consulting customs procedures to support and solve problems for enterprises in import and export activities.

Recently, Binh Duong Customs Department in collaboration with Thu Dau Mot Customs Branch, My Phuoc Customs Branch, VSIP Industrial Park Customs Branch and Viet Huong Industrial Park Customs Branch simultaneously held a dialogue conference with enterprises producing, trading and investing in the province. At the dialogues, representatives of leaders of Binh Duong Customs Department and branches also answered in detail the opinions and problems of businesses related to labeling and origin of goods.

Han Tan Quang, Head of the Recycling Market Department, in charge of the Import-Export Department of Vina Kraft Paper Co. Ltd., shared that the enterprise has a relatively large volume of import and export goods with about 1,000-1,500 containers of goods a month. Despite great efforts, businesses are still unable to avoid shortcomings in grasping the provisions of the law. Therefore, through these dialogues, businesses have been consulted by Binh Duong Customs Department, answered problems, provided information, warned about risks, and closely followed import and export activities; thereby, helping businesses grasp, comply well with the law not letting violations happen.

Especially, from the customs-enterprise dialogues, Binh Duong Customs Department continued to promote the motto of "Customs always standing with the business community". Accordingly, developing relationships between enterprises and stakeholders with a number of key activities including information, propaganda, and business support in order to facilitate trade and improve legal compliance capacity, strengthen consultation and dialogue activities to enhance transparency, reduce time and informal costs for businesses.

Binh Duong Customs Department is committed to creating maximum conditions for businesses to take advantage of new documents and new policies on customs procedures in import and export activities to promptly solve problems, contributing to creating a favorable business environment, promoting the development of production and business in the province.
