Binh Duong determined to bring PAR Index, digital transformation to top 10 nationwide

Early August 18, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation chaired a conference setting up a plan on administrative reform, digital transformation, Binh Duong smart city construction. The event was attended by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Pernament Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee and members of provincial Party Standing Committee.

Addressing the conference, Mr. Loi emphasized Binh Duong's determination to put the Public Administration Reform (PAR) index and digital transformation in the Top 10 in the country. Provincial Party Committee Secretary noted that the province needs to refer national documents and targets to determine the formation of a smart city in the province, fields that must be implemented on digital transformation and in the network environment through broadband to solve administrative procedures. In terms of smart society, the province must interact on the network environment in the fields of investment procedures, tax, customs, e-commerce, e-invoice, education, health care, land...; further build a data base, share data with accuracy ensured and have to analyze the local socio-economic situation in order to make forecasts for direction and administration.

Provincial Party Committee Secretary also requested working groups, departments, agencies and sectors to further review and set up specific plans, tasks and effectively implement the set tasks; assigned Binh Duong Smart City Office from now to 2025 to set smart field targets, with focus on building smart government, online services that must be complete...
