Binh Duong Digital application launched to serve people and businesses

On January 4, at Binh Duong Provincial Intelligent Operation Center, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to announce a new digital platform: "Binh Duong Digital application" to serve citizens and businesses.

The ceremony were attended by Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; and leaders of departments, agencies, local authorities. The ceremony was transmitted online to 91 communes, wards and towns of the province.

With the people-centric principle, Binh Duong Digital application aims to build e-government, digital government, digital economy, digital society and Binh Duong smart city. Through this application, citizens and businesses can exploit and perform information related to public services; report the situation of social security and order; receive important and urgent notices; environmental information; look up planning information; see live traffic circulation; utilities; employment information...

Binh Duong Digital application is expected to form an integrated communication channel between people, businesses and the provincial government, create convenience for people and businesses in using online public services, reflecting their opinions, look up and exploit the information provided by the government... Since then, contributing to socio-economic administration, better serving people and businesses in the process of digital transformation.

In order for Binh Duong Digital application to operate stably and effectively, provide many utilities as well as increase interaction between authorities, people and businesses in the digital environment, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh ordered agencies, branches, socio-political organizations, leaders of districts, towns and cities, and commune-level People's Committees to learn functions of the application to popularize, deploy, and install widely among public employees at agencies, units and localities. At the same time, to focus on implementing solutions to propagate and instruct people and businesses, especially at single-window divisions, to install, experience the application in the digital environment, contributing to providing more information for the direction and administration of socio-economic development, better serve the population in the coming time.
