Binh Duong further reaches over US$ 2.17 billion in trade surplus

According to provincial Statistics Office, the province’s export turnover in March 2023 was estimated at more than US$ 3.122 billion, up 36.4% and down 7.7% over the previous month and over the same period, respectively. Of these, the domestic economic sector reached US$ 587.3 million, up 36.8% and down 8.9% compared to the same period while the economic sector with foreign direct investment capital reached US$ 2,535.1 million, up 36.3%.

The province’s export turnover in the first quarter of 2023 was estimated at more than US$ 7,285.6 million, down 18.7% over the same period. Of these, the domestic economic sector obtained US$ 1,356.9 million, down 17.5% while the economic sector with foreign direct investment capital gained US$ 5,928.7 million, down 19%.

The province’s trade surplus in the first 3 months of 2023 was more than US$2.17 billion. Of the total figure, the economic sector with domestic investment had a trade surplus of US$ 627.7 million while the economic sector with foreign direct investment reached US$1,546.7 million in trade surplus.
