Binh Duong – gather-up to commemorate 86th anniversary of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism

In the morning of June 15, Binh Duong Association of Journalist has organized a meeting to mark the 86th year of legacy from June 21, 1925 to June 21, 2001.

At the meeting, the local association has reviewed the tradition of bright achievements thanks to efforts and contributions of journalists to the cause of liberty and nation making.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Head of Education and Propaganda, Mr. Nguyen Minh Giao has given a moving speech on the role of journalism in broadcasting Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Ideology, policies and guidelines of the Party, and the laws of the State. He noted that press agencies need to be aware of their roles and responsibilities and to continue the learning and following of Ho Chi Minh moral examples.

On this occasion, prizes and awards are presented to individuals who excel in the cause of journalism and art performing festival of Dong Nam Bo journalists.

The provincial association also introduces a club for female journalists.
