Binh Duong’s sports delegation, as of November 28, won 9 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 10 bronze medals at the 2018 National Sports Festival, ranking fifth among 65 participating teams.
On November 28, Ly Hoang Nam and Trinh Linh Giang brought additional 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals in the two tennis events: men’s doubles and men’s singles to Binh Duong. Pencak Silat athletes of Binh Duong Vo Minh Hung, Nguyen Long Van Trang and Phung Thi Phuong also won 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. Whilst, Tran Thi Tuyet Nuong pocketed a bronze medal in the women’s cycling event. This was seen as the most successful competition day of Binh Duong’s sports delegation at the sports festival.
