In the first half of 2014, Binh Duong held and co-held an international tournament (the third Binh Duong International Women's Cycling Open-Biwase Cup) and a regional tournament (the Southeastern Karatedo tournament).

The province’s sports teams also took part in 29 international, national and regional tournaments. As a result, they won a total of 91 medals, including 33 gold medals, 27 silver medals and 31 bronze medals.

Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has also focused on implementing the second phase of the Project on “Selecting and training Binh Duong’s gifted, young athletes in the 2011 and 2014 period, orientations till 2018” and the Project on “Developing Binh Duong’s high achievement sports till 2015, orientations till 2020”…

So far, the whole province had had a total of 104 coaches and 879 athletes.
