Environmental operation socialized

According to the organizing board of Binh Duong Green Festival, all preparations for the festival have been completed. By socialization, localities, sectors and mass bodies and businesses are ready for the event. Specifically, Thanh Le Trade-Import and Import Company has hung 100 panels, banners to promulgate the festival across Thu Dau Mot town and assisted expenses to offer shirts, hats for volunteers and youths and unionists. In addition, functional agencies have positively decorated and installed stalls and stages and so on.

Ngo Van Lui, vice general director of Binh Duong Water Supply and Environment Co. said that the company has donated expenses for making cotton bags and buying gifts in service for a program of changing garbage for gifts.

To lure many people for the festival, the organizing board in cooperation with mass bodies and sectors will mobilize 600 students from primary schools, secondary schools and high schools and at least 400 youths and unionists at all levels to join in the event. At the festival, participants will enjoy a painting contest and make recycled products for display.

A friendly festive day

Binh Duong Green Festival in this year will take place within a day with a purpose of spurring and spreading environmentally friendly behaviors to local people, businesses and households.

Vo Thi Ngoc Hanh, vice director of the local department of Environment and Natural Resources affirmed that this year’s World Environment Day (June 5) will include 2 parts of ceremony and festivity. Of these, Binh Duong Green Festival will surely lure countless participants. The local department of Environment and Natural Resources will cooperate with sectors and units to ensure essential means and improve awareness and action for a clean, green, beautiful and modern environment.
