On May 30, at Vo Minh Duc High School (Thu Dau Mot City), Provincial Department of Education and Training held a conference to assign invigilation at the entrance exam for the 10th grade high school 2023-2024.
At the conference, leaders of Department of Education and Training thoroughly informed invigilating councils about professional works, the preparation of material facilities for the examination; ensure uniformity in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 at testing sites (2K implementation); agreed on the delivery and receipt of exam questions and papers between Department of Education and Training and examination boards. Department of Education and Training also requires high schools and junior high schools with invigilating boards to prepare necessary conditions to serve the examination; coordinate with local authorities to do a good job of propagating, developing, and implementing a plan to ensure security and safety and create the best conditions for the examination.
Candidates applying for admission to public high schools must take a written exam in three compulsory subjects: Literature, Math and English. To candidates taking the entrance exam to Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, in addition to three compulsory exams, candidates must also take specialized exams with higher differentiation.
The entrance exam for the 10th grade high school in the school year 2023-2024 in Binh Duong province has 44 invigilating boards located at high schools and junior high schools in the province with more than 22,058 candidates, will take place in 2 days 1 and 2 June. Particularly, students enrolled in Hung Vuong Gifted High School will do test of their specialized subjects June 3 and 4. On June 21, provincial Department of Education and Training will announce results of the 10th grade entrance exam. It is expected that the enrollment target for 10th grade in the 2023-2024 school year of public high schools is 12,700 students.
