Binh Duong IPs’ Trade Union to make an impression from good labor, creative labor emulation

In recent years, one important impression in activities of Binh Duong IPs’ Trade Union has been the emulation movement of "Good labor, creative labor”. From this movement, every year, more than 1,000 technical initiatives, useful solutions are applied by enterprises, saving averagely over VND50 billion.

In order for workers to improve their skills and contribute to the company’s growth, grassroots trade unions under Binh Duong IPs’ Trade Union have actively cooperated with business owners, employers to organize patriotic emulation movements among workers in many forms in accordance with characteristics and situation of each company. The most remarkable movement is the "Good labor, creative labor” movement.

Commending workers of "Good labor, creative labor" 2016

Mr. Nguyen Le Hanh, Chairman of Scancom Vietnam Company’s Trade Union, said at the company, this movement had been disseminated regularly and in line with business objectives of the company. Therefore, workers have put forward many useful ideas to production, increasing productivity, cost savings, and improving the working environment.

Mr. Le Nho Luong, Chairman of Binh Duong IPs’ Trade Union, said, in responses to patriotic emulation movements, particularly "Good labor, creative labor" movement, the Trade Union had spread this movement among grassroots unions and received enthusiastic responses from grassroots unions, business owners. Through this movement, many exemplary workers with useful initiatives have emerged.

One example of promoting initiatives and technical improvements is Le Tri Thang, worker of Chinli Plastics Company in Viet Huong Industrial Park. In the last year, Thang and two colleagues researched and installed themselves 3 automatic machines, saving about VND1 billion for their company and labors of their colleagues, minimize labor accidents. Le Tri Thang said: “Realizing that workers must strain to put materials into machines and occupational risk is very high, thus the company intended to purchase 3 automatic machines. Meanwhile, there were many disposed machines in warehouses, because they were no longer suitable for the production line. Hence, my two colleagues and I researched and created some machines. The result was surprising”.

Quach Vu Giang Chau, production manager of Scancom Vietnam Company, is also an exemplary individual, because of his initiative to improve colorimeters, repair color differences, reduce the time to handle color differences, recyclable goods… His initiative annually saves more than VND700 million for the company.

According to Mr. Le Nho Luong, Chairman of Binh Duong IPs’ Trade Union, in order for the movement of "Good labor, creative labor” to attract more unions, enterprises and workers, in addition to emulation contents in line with the situation of each enterprise, the commendation for typical collectives, individuals is one key factor contributing to the success of the movement. Therefore, Binh Duong IPs’ Trade Union held a conference to commend 16 excellent grassroots trade unions in launching the movement, and to select outstanding individuals of the movement, praised 192 individuals having outstanding achievements in "Good labor, creative labor” movement 2016.

"These are beautiful "flowers", are exemplary individuals in the "Good labor, creative labor" movement 2016. To these "flowers", this was a joy, an encouragement for them to continue their efforts, their dedication", said Mr. Luong.
