Update: 11-07-2024 | 13:08:18

On July 10, Nguyen Hong Son, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, and his delegation had a working session with Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee on the results of implementing Directive No. 40-CT/TW dated November 22, 2014 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over social policy credit (referred to as Directive No. 40-CT/TW); the implementation of Conclusion No. 06-KL/TW dated June 10, 2021 of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on continuing to implement Directive No. 40-CT/TW. Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, received and worked with the delegation.

During the meeting, Vo Van Duc, Director of the Provincial Bank for Social Policies, reported that for the past 10 years, the Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province have consistently focused on leading and directing the implementation of policy credit programs and projects associated with socio-economic development, in accordance with Directive No. 40-CT/TW and Conclusion No. 06-KL of the Central Committee of the Party Central Secretariat. As a result, loan capital continuously grew. As of April 30, 2024, total credit capital reached over 4,717 billion VND, an increase of nearly 3.5 times compared to December 31, 2014. Currently, Binh Duong is the 4th province in the country and has devoted large resources to policy credit for disadvantaged groups and implemented effective credit policies.

Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Hong Son praised the province's great efforts and contributions in recent years to promote and improve the effectiveness of the credit channel that the Government provides to the poor and other policy beneficiaries. Son suggested that Binh Duong should continue to prioritize policy credit activities in the near future...

Ha received the delegation's opinions and said that, with the province's industrial development, the housing demand of workers is very large. To ensure enough accommodation for workers, in 2024, the province will entrust 500 billion VND to develop social housing. The province will also continue to mobilize additional resources for policy credit in the future.
