Most recently, Capitaland Development Group (Vietnam) started Sycamore project in Binh Duong new city. Sycamore is Capitaland's first large-scale housing project (18.9 hectares) in Vietnam, with nearly 3,500 apartments, meeting the demands of about 13,000 residents. Total project development value is about 18,000 billion VND.

Kho Ngee Seng Roy, Consul General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City: Binh Duong is one of the dynamic localities. In December 2021, Becamex IDC Corporation and Capitaland Development Group (Singapore) signed a cooperation contract to develop Binh Duong new city. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of Becamex IDC Corporation, said the cooperation between the two sides will be a big boost for the development of the new city in particular and Binh Duong province in general, not only in real estate, but also will lead to the development of trade - services, culture - society, science - technology, and attract new human resources.

Realizing that Binh Duong new city has economic potential and dynamic development, in July 2023, Aeon Vietnam officially opened Aeon Binh Duong New City at Sora Gardens SC Shopping Center in Binh Duong new city. Furusawa Yasuyuki, General Director of Aeon Vietnam, said: “This is the first streamlined supermarket in the southern region.
