Early May 6, Binh Duong Newspaper’s trade union local held its 19th congress for the 2023-2028 tenure.

In the last tenure, the Executive Board of Binh Duong Newspaper’s trade union local always promoted the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and enthusiasm in emulation movements and trade union activities, protecting trade unionists and employees’ legitimate rights and interests.

Speaking at the congress, Le Minh Tung, Secretary of the Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Binh Duong Newspaper emphasized that in the new tenure, the Executive Board of the unit’s trade union local needs to further make efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of trade union activities at requirements in the new context. Political and ideological education must be promoted with efforts in building up a strong Trade Union organization. The trade union local should coordinate with mass organizations to take good care of the lives of trade unionists and laborers; organize patriotic emulation movements in association with effectively realizing the unit’s professional tasks...

The congress elected the Executive Board of the unit’s trade union for the 2023-2028 tenure, including 7 members; elected delegates for the upper-level trade union congress. Nguyen Quoc Liem, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Binh Duong Newspaper was elected as Chairman of the unit’s trade union local for the 2023-2028 tenure.
