Binh Duong opens up many investment opportunities for German businesses

On March 19, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with Southern Investment Promotion Center and German Business Association in Vietnam to hold a promotion conference of German investment in Binh Duong. The conference was attended by Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Becamex IDC Corporation, departments and branches of the province. On the side of the German Business Association in Vietnam, there was Chairman Alexander Ziehe; Le Quynh Anh, Executive Director of German Business Association in Vietnam.

Alexander Ziehe said that Binh Duong is a successful province in FDI attraction and industrial development. German Business Association in Vietnam emphasizes these success factors of Binh Duong to German businesses. Mr. Ziehe also proposed issues that Binh Duong needs to improve further to strongly attract FDI capital in the coming time, such as: completing connecting transport infrastructure, simplifying administrative procedures, customs procedures, and import-export clearance; regulations on granting work permits to foreigners; construction permit procedures; preferential investment tax policies, incentives when expanding business investment; Paying attention to sustainable factors such as net emissions, rooftop solar energy systems to meet green production... Representatives of provincial departments and branches also shared a lot of useful information with German partners on investment attraction policies, major projects and potential for cooperation in the province...

On behalf of provincial leaders, Ha welcomed German investors to the province. Currently, Binh Duong is accelerating the construction progress of a scientific and technological industrial park and World Trade Center in Binh Duong New City; building transport infrastructure to facilitate the regional connectivity, logistics system, training high-quality labor force... Binh Duong promises to open up many new investment opportunities for German businesses in strong fields of Germany, like: infrastructure construction, high technology, renewable energy, education, healthcare, environment... Binh Duong province pledge to always create the most favorable conditions to ensure foreign businesses in general and German enterprises in particular feel secure in investing, producing and doing business in the province.
