Binh Duong plans to spend over VND 13.56 trillion on Dong An Tay urban area

Chairman of provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 2112/QD-UBND approving preliminary requirements on the capacity and experience of investors registering to implement the Dong An Tay urban area project in Ben Cat city’s An Tay ward and Phu An commune.

Accordingly, Chairman of provincial People's Committee assigned provincial Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with relevant units and localities to announce the investment project and organize a preliminary evaluation program of the capacity and experience of the investors submitting registration dossiers for the project. Based on this evaluation, a report will be submitted to Chairman of provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision on the next steps under regulations.

Previously, on July 12, 2024, Chairman of provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2062/QD-UBND approving the investment policy for the Dong An Tay Urban Area project. Accordingly, the Dong An Tay Urban Area project is expected to include adjacent residential areas, villas, resettlement houses in adjacent forms, social housing units in adjacent forms (for sale, rent, and lease-purchase) combined with commercial-service facilities, adjacent commercial areas, and commercial-service facilities (office buildings, shopping centers, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.).

The project's scale is about 288.84 hectares, including about 280.44 hectares for land area and about 8.4 hectares for water surface area. The projected population is about 14,300 people. The total number of apartments/houses is expected to be around 7,100 units. The total investment for the project is estimated at more than VND 13.56 trillion.
