Binh Duong prepares carefully to ensure the 2024 high school graduation exam takes place successfully

On the morning of May 21, Binh Duong Provincial Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam held a meeting to discuss the organization of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in the province. Attending and chairing the meeting was Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2024 high school graduation exam.

According to a report by Provincial Department of Education and Training, this year Binh Duong belongs to Exam Council No. 44, with 29 exam sites, including 1 reserve exam location. Among the 29 exam sites, 19 sites are located at high schools in districts and cities and 10 sites are located at junior high schools.

Currently, Binh Duong has 15,275 candidates registered to take the exam. Particularly, 254 candidates registered for graduation only; 14,467 candidates registered for both graduation and university entrance exams; 554 candidates registered for the university entrance exam only. In addition, there were 144 candidates who registered for accounts for university admission using other admission methods. Currently, Department of Education & Training advised the Provincial People's Committee to establish an exam steering committee. Department of Education & Training has established an Examination Council and committees of the council; organize training on exam regulations and exam organization skills for leaders of high schools and Vocational education - continuing education centers. On June 25 and 26, the department will conduct professional training for heads, deputy heads of exam sites, and exam invigilators on exam proctoring work; new regulations; ensuring security and safety of exam questions, exam papers, and preventing cheating in exam using new technological equipment...

Basically, this year's exam remains stable compared to previous years; Ha asked Department of Education & Training to coordinate well with departments and localities to prepare for and organize the 2024 high school graduation exam well. In particular, the current weather situation has erratic fluctuations, so it is recommended that the Exam Council, exam sites and localities pay attention to this issue to have specific plans and solutions to ensure the performance of the exam.
