Binh Duong press to be a linkage between government and enterprises

Update: 20-06-2015 | 15:39:54

That was the general comment of the business community in Binh Duong province. Many companies said, local press agencies have updated timely news and information contributing to removing difficulties, advertising businesses. They also hoped that the press would continue to coordinate closely with businesses to inform quickly, accurately, and objectively.

  • Mr. Tran Thanh Trong, President of Binh Duong Mechatronics Association: The press contributed to greatly promoting business’s success

Businesses, especially technology-based enterprises like us, need timely transmission of information to the mass media.

Innovations bringing good products, customer satisfaction is the goal of every business. We are very happy, whenever creating a successful product meeting market demand. However, it is not easy for everybody to know about the success of business, especially high-tech companies. If businesses work their on their own to advertise, very few people would believe. Meanwhile, just one or few news in newspapers could create big effects on our products.

For example, in 2014, my company, Sang Ban Mai company, produced successfully electric generator having the world's largest capacity. But nobody believed us when joining bidding. Only after we installed and operated successfully the machine at provincial integrated administrative center, and then had articles about our product on Binh Duong Newspaper, many customers began to come to us. Up to now, SBMPOWER electric generator has been known widely as a top brand in this field by domestic and foreign markets.

It can be said, in the current information explosion era, the attention of the mainstream press is a great resource for businesses to grow sustainably.

  • Mr. Vuong Sieu Tin, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Ceramics Association: Newspapers need to update more information about businesses

Currently, there are many tabloids plus the explosion of information on the Internet. Therefore, mainstream press should enhance information about businesses for readers.

As a business manager, I fully aware of the power of information. However, there are too many sources of misinformation affecting negatively businesses. Local small businesses often do not have funds for advertising products, and media. Therefore, we need attention and assistance of mainstream press, especially Binh Duong Newspaper and Binh Duong Radio – Television, in updating business successes in the province.

In recent years, I am very glad to know that Binh Duong Newspaper had more new interesting columns about businesses. The newspaper should increase more articles reflecting truly and correctly about businesses in the province. Thereby, local enterprises would be updated on policies and guidelines of the provinces, focus on production improvement, contributing to the country construction.

  • Mr. Luu Phuoc Loc, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Wood processing Association cum Director of Mtrade Company: The press saved the wood industry

Recently, Binh Duong Newspaper informed quickly policies, regulations pertaining to business activities including the wood industry, helping companies to understand clearly and then put forward appropriate production strategies.

We want to thank journalists for timely informing customs policies obstructing wood exporters. Thanks to this, customs sector removed and amended inappropriate procedures to facilitate wood exporting to foreign markets.

  •

Mr. Soichi Hanano, General Director of GS Battery Company (VSIP): The press should help business in market analysis

As in Japan, Vietnamese newspapers have done well their role as a bridge between government and enterprises, thereby helping the State to promulgate regulations in accordance with the general business development. Thanks to the press, businesses are updated quickly on new laws and policies, State agencies also learn about difficulties of enterprises enterprises in the implementation process. Thereby, businesses and the government could have better exchanges, dialogues.

In my opinion, in any business environment, the press and businesses need to be more open with each other, especially trust, rely on and respect each other for mutual benefits. Companies need to provide accurate information, the media should be objective, flexible to help businesses in making market forecasts and analysis.
