Binh Duong proposes to vaccinate over 1.45 million people against Covid-19

At the request of the Ministry of Health on rechecking and totaling up the list of priority subjects for Covid-19 vaccines, provincial Department of Health has proposed the Ministry of Health about the number of people who need to be vaccined against Covid-19 in the province in  2021’s Q1 and Q 2.

Accordingly, provincial Department of Health proposed the Ministry of Health to vaccinate more than 1.45 million people. Among them, more than 1.41 million people have not received the first shot yet and more than 41,600 people have not got the second shot yet.

It is known that the province has so far vaccinated 44,044 people (41,918 people with the first shot and 2,126 people with the second shot) from the Astra Zeneca vaccine source allocated by the Ministry of Health.

Meanwhile, on the afternoon of July 4, the province recorded additional 76 new Covid-19 cases (which has not been announced by the Ministry of Health yet). The figure brought the total number of Covid-19 cases on July 4 to 87 cases and the total number of Covid-19 cases in the province in the 4th wave of the pandemic to 635 cases (with 1 death). Of the 76 new cases, 67 were in isolation zones; 1 case in blockade area; 3 cases at company; 5 cases detected at medical facilities.
