Binh Duong Province learns successful experience and cooperation opportunities on smart cities in Korea

On October 12, within a working visit to Korea, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh and Binh Duong provincial delegation had a meeting with Lee Sang Rae, Chairman of People's Council of Daejeon City.

Binh Duong Province and Daejeon City have established a friendly cooperative relationship since 2005. In the past time, the two sides have sent many high-ranking delegations visiting and working in Binh Duong and Korea; 11 delegations of students from the two localities exchange and experience culture in Binh Duong and Daejeon City.

In 2018, Binh Duong province coordinated with Daejeon City and the World Technopolis Association (WTA) to host the 11th summit of WTA General Assembly and organize activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of WTA in Binh Duong province. At the meeting, leaders of the two localities agreed to continue developing the friendly relationship between the two peoples, the two governments, and Binh Duong Province People's Standing Council and Daejeon City People's Council.

Previously, the delegation attended opening ceremony of a smart city exhibition on the agenda of the Conference of Cities and Local Governments’ Alliance at Exhibition Convention Center of Daejeon City, Korea.
