Binh Duong Province: Nearly 6,000 candidates attend stage 1 university entrance examination

July 4, together with other universities nation wide, 3 entities of Thu Dau Mot University, Binh Duong University, and Binh Duong Provincial University of Economics and Technology held the first stage of university entrance examination for subject groups of A, A1, and V with nearly 6,000 candidates registered.

However, by our observation, more than 80% of the candidates registered attended the examination procedures under regulations of Ministry of Education and Training which only required universities to organize entrance examinations.
Universities have been well-prepared for the examinations. In the first stage, Thu Dau Mot University eyed 5,000 candidates competing for the mentioned subjects at additional 6 councils across senior and junior high schools in Thu Dau Mot City and Thuan An Town.
As for the first stage, Thu Dau Mot University organized examination at 5 schools and senior high schools with 575 monitoring staffs while the two remaining universities can afford their own facilities.

The candidates were remind of being punctual and that they should be present 15 to 30 minutes before the examination to be prepared for writings and tests.
In examination rooms, candidates are only allowed with pens, pencils, compass, eraser, rulers, measuring rulers, pocket calculator, voice and image recorder without function of broacasting and previewing, and plain papers. Cell phones are forbidden. To thoroughly guide the candidates, at each examination room, guiding papers are sticked stating the allowed and not allowed items.
This is the first time that 3 major universities in Binh Duong Province open entrance examinations. Thus, Deputy Chair of Provincial People’s Committee called upon sectors and agencies to support their entrance examinations including power supply, order maintenance, and traffic control.
The entrance examinations in Binh Duong Province are promising to bear fruits thanks to well preparation and high rate of participation regarding the registered quantity of candidates.
