On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi congratulated the Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Buddhist Association and the monks and Buddhists with good health on welcoming a new year. Secretary of provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi acknowledged the contributions of the Vietnamese Buddhist Association in the province in recent years with many humanitarian activities, significantly contributing to strengthening the unity of the whole nation in general and the socio-economic development of the province in particular. Especially during the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the province's Buddhism has made important contributions, responsibility, and gratitude together with the authorities and people of the province to overcome the pandemic and quickly restore the socio-economic development. The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee wished that the contributions of the Vietnamese Buddhists Association in the province continue to strongly spread, contributing to the joint hands with the Party Committee, authorities and people in the province to build a growing province, and the people becoming more and more prosperous and happy in a worth living province of Binh Duong.

In the morning of the same day, the provincial leaders attended the handover ceremony of the Red Cross house to Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh's family of quarter 5 at Dinh Hoa ward in Thu Dau Mot city. The house covering an area of ​​60 square meters cost over VND 100 million, of which the provincial Red Cross supported VND 70 million. On this occasion, leaders of the province and Thu Dau Mot city gave 20 gifts to families with difficult circumstances in Dinh Hoa ward. In Tan An ward, the leaders of the province and Thu Dau Mot city also attended the handover ceremony of the Red Cross house to Mrs. Ngo Thi Ngoc Nga's family of Quarter 1. The house built on an area of ​​60 square meters was constructed by the funding of VND 110 million dong, of which the provincial Red Cross supported 70 million; the rest was mobilized by the locality and contributed by the family. At the place, the locality gave gifts to 20 disadvantaged households in Tan An ward.
