Afternoon of February 21, Nguyen Loc Ha - Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities came to celebrate and wish the Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Ruc, born in 1923, at Phu Loi ward in Thu Dau Mot city.

Mother Nguyen Thi Ruc had a husband and eldest son who died in the resistance war against the US to save the country. At her 100 years old, she is well cared for by her family and authorities at all levels, so her health is very good. Receiving the delegation of provincial leaders, the mother took the gifts and wished each member of the delegation a healthy, happy and prosperous new year to continued to have many contributions to build the province. Nguyen Loc Ha graciously inquired about the health of his mother and family, wishing her good health and a happy life with her children and grandchildren; at the same time, directing the local authority to continue to pay attention to and take care of the mother's health in the coming time. The delegation gave mother Nguyen Thi Ruc 5 meters of silk fabric, VND 1.2 million in cash and a gift worth VND 500,000.

On the same day, the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs organized delegations including representatives of departments, agencies, unions and localities to visit, give gifts to wish and congratulate the elderly of 100 years old in the province. In Thu Dau Mot city, Ha Minh Trung - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the delegation came to wish nine 100-year-olds in wards such as Phu My, Hiep An, and Tuong Binh Hiep. Despite being 100 years old, their health was very good and lucid, typically Nguyen Thi Ranh who was born in 1923, living at quarters 3 of Phu My ward, still hears, speaks clearly, and has a clear memory. Visiting the elderly, Ha Minh Trung graciously inquired about their health and family life with wishes for good health. At the same time, the President's birthday cards are given to the elderly. On the local side, each person received a gift of 5 meters of silk fabric, a gift of VND 500,000 and VND 1.2 million in cash.

In Tan Uyen town, Tran Thi Kim Lan – Deputy Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the delegation went from house to house to visit and give spiritual encouragement gifts to 11 elderly people who turned 100 years old; each gift included 5 meters of silk fabric, a gift worth VND 500,000 and VND 1.2 million in cash. On behalf of the delegation, Tran Thi Kim Lan graciously encouraged each to live a happy, healthy, and long life with their children and grandchildren.

In Thuan An city, the delegation of departments and localities visited, wished and gave gifts to five 100-year-old elderly in the city including Nguyen Thi Chinh in An Son commune, Dang Thi Ba, Hoang Thi Hanh, and Luu Thi Nang in Lai Thieu ward and Bui Thi Mia in Vinh Phu ward. They are living healthy, lucid and leading happy lives with their children and grandchildren despite their ages.

At the visiting families, the delegation graciously inquired about the situation of life and health and wished the elderly a happy life, being a warm fulcrum for their children and grandchildren. Representatives of the delegation presented the President's birthday greeting cards to them. Each of them was also given gifts, 5 meters of silk fabric and VND 1.2 million in cash.
