Binh Duong provincial delegation visit the Vietnamese Embassy in Mongolia

On November 23, a Binh Duong provincial delegation led by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, paid a courtesy visit to the Vietnamese Ambassador in the capital Ulan Bato, Mongolia.

Speaking at the meeting, Doan Thanh Tam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Mongolia, said that economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Mongolia in recent years has made good progress. In 2022, two-way trade turnover reached US$85 million; In the first 10 months of 2023, it reached US$95.7 million.

During the state visit of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and his wife to Vietnam from November 1 to 5, the two sides set a goal of bilateral trade of US$200 million by 2024. Mongolia wants to cooperate in fields of mining, construction, and investment in transport infrastructure.

Thao said that in its foreign policy orientation, Binh Duong always values and wishes to expand friendly and cooperative relations with localities in countries around the world.
