In 2022, two-way trade turnover reached US$85 million; In the first 10 months of 2023, it reached US$95.7 million.
During the state visit of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and his wife to Vietnam from November 1 to 5, the two sides set a goal of bilateral trade of US$200 million by 2024. Mongolia wants to cooperate in fields of mining, construction, and investment in transport infrastructure.
