Building a new model of farmer association

With the purpose of creating a spread of emulation movement activities, the provincial Farmers' Association organizes a series of festival events honoring excellent Binh Duong farmers and trade fairs, introducing and promoting typical agricultural products, provincial OCOP in 2023. In the series of events, there are also conferences and seminars on "Building modern civilized farmers" in 2023 and direct meetings and dialogues between the Chairman of the provincial Farmers' Association under the theme "Promoting internal strength and advantages of Binh Duong province, promoting the farmer movement, developing sustainable agricultural economy".

In addition, the Provincial Farmers' Association also organized awards for 50 farmers with good production and business and 10 collectives with outstanding achievements in the movement of farmers with good production and business in the period 2021-2023. In addition, the association also awarded "excellent Binh Duong farmers" awards to 11 individuals who are outstanding farmers in production and business. Individuals and groups are typical, along with farmer members in the province, participating in implementing the new rural construction program for the period 2021-2025.

In particular, the association organized a trade fair, introducing and promoting typical agricultural products and OCOP products with more than 200 booths; including 50 booths of typical agricultural products, OCOP products of the province and 150 booths of fine art wooden furniture and food areas to serve people visiting and shopping. The fair is an opportunity for farmers and businesses inside and outside the province to participate in introducing products; At the same time, creating a cultural, entertainment and festival space to welcome the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, term 2023-2028.

This series of events is an important activity for the association's work and the farmer movement to emulate good production and business, in order to honor exemplary and outstanding individuals who have made many positive contributions to the development of the economy. local socio-economic development. The 8th National Congress of Vietnam Farmers' Association in 2023-2028 tenure will be held from December 25 to December 27, 2023 at the National Convention Center, My Dinh, Hanoi. The delegation of Binh Duong provincial Farmers' Association had 11 delegates participating in the congress. Before attending the congress, the delegation was convened by the provincial Party Committee leaders, given flowers to congratulate and orient the key contents of delegates' activities at the congress.
