Binh Duong provincial Golf Society just held a showing up ceremony and its 1st term congress (2014-2019). The society is established on the provincial People’s Committee’s Decision No 755/QD-UBND dated April 7, 201.

 

The society now has 104 members. The congress elected the first term executive board with 11 members led by Mai Van Nghia. In addition, the executive board includes 3 vice chairmen, 2 vice secretaries and 4 members. The society’s goal is to hold tournaments and exchanges with gold clubs and societies in the region and world. Besides, the society will make efforts to appeal social organizations and members to organize tournaments with the purpose of charity throughout the country.

 

Addressing the ceremony, Nguyen Phu Yen, vice director of the provincial department of Culture, Sport and Tourism said “The golf society will make a premise for developing sport movements and improving capacity of golf playing in Binh Duong and simultaneously will strengthen exchange and solidarity between local and foreign partners”.
