Binh Duong provincial leaders met with the delegation to attend the 9th National Buddhism Congress

Morning of November 21, Nguyen Van Loc - Standing Member, and Head of the provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization, cum Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee had a meeting with the Binh Duong Buddhist Delegation before their attendance to the ninth National Buddhism Congress of 2022-2027 tenure.

At the meeting, Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha in Binh Duong province, said that this year’s national Buddhist Congress is a very important event for Vietnamese Buddhism in the coming years of global integration and development. At the congress, Vietnamese Buddhists will focus on many important issues of amending the Buddhist Charter, evaluating the results achieved by Vietnamese Buddhism in the past 5 years, honoring the Council of Evidence, recommending the Executive Council of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha among others.

The Buddhist delegation of Binh Duong attendubg the 9th National Buddhism Congress consists of 20 members, led by Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong. In the Congress, the Binh Duong Buddhist delegation will deliver 2 presentations.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Nguyen Van Loc sent greetings to the Binh Duong Buddhist delegation attending this time national congress, wishing all members of the delegation good health, fully participating in the programs of the association and made many worthy contributions to the success of the congress.
