Binh Duong provincial leaders receive working delegation of Seo Daemun district, Seoul

On the morning of May 13, Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Permanent Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, chaired a reception for the working delegation from Seo Daemun district government, Seoul (South Korea) led by Mr. Lee Sung Hun, the district chairman, who visited on the occasion of signing a cooperation agreement between Seo Daemun district authority and Di An city. Also present at the reception were Mr. Ho Quang Diep, Member of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Di An city Party Committee, and leaders of several provincial departments and agencies.

During the meeting, Mr. Mai Hung Dung provided information to the delegation on the socio-economic development situation of the province; at the same time, he highly appreciated the contributions of South Korean enterprises in Binh Duong province. South Korea currently ranks 4th out of 65 countries and territories investing in Binh Duong, with a total capital of about 4 billion USD. Beside the economic development cooperation, Binh Duong province and localities have also expanded the signing of cooperation agreements and twinning with localities in South Korea, thereby expanding economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges.

Share with the provincial leaders, Mr. Lee Sung Hun expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of the provincial leaders, while also believing that after the signing ceremony of the cooperation between Dĩ An City and Seo Deamun district, it will be a significant turning point opening up opportunities for large-scale cooperation between the two localities in all fields. Seo Daemun district has 9 large universities and 30,000 businesses, providing an opportunity for investment promotion and cooperation between Seo Daemun district and Di An city in particular, and Binh Duong province in the near future, especially in some areas of interest to Binh Duong province.
