On the morning of July 14, Nguyen Van Cong, Director of Binh Duong Tax Department on reporting at a conference to review the first 6 months of the year of the provincial Tax Department said that the tax department has implemented many budget collection solutions over the past time. As a result, tax revenue in the first 6 months of the year reached VND 23,972 billion or 53% of the estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance. Although the budget revenue results basically reached the set target, according to the leader of the Provincial Tax Department, many difficulties persisted the last 6 months of the year.
Nguyen Van Cong said that in the coming time, the provincial Tax Department will improve tax management such as strengthening and supporting taxpayers in many new, effective and interactive forms, increasing the collection of land use fees and land rentals from organizations, strengthening inspection and examination of enterprises with associated transactions in the area. In particular, many solutions will be implemented to prevent tax loss in the fields of real estate business, e-commerce, and food and beverage business to strengthen the inspection, examination and urge the debt collection.
On this occasion, 5 collectives and 26 individuals were honored to be awarded certificates of merit by the Ministry of Finance for outstanding achievements in tax work. The provincial Tax Department also awarded collectives and individuals who won prizes in writing contests and comments on the tax department.
