Binh Duong ranks fifth nationwide in number of Smartphone subscribers

According to statistics from provincial Department of Information and Communications, as of mid-October 2023, the whole province was home to over 4 million mobile phone subscribers. Of these, there were nearly 3.2 million subscribers using mobile broadband services, reaching the rate of 115.17 mobile broadband subscribers per 100 people. The rate of mobile phone subscribers using smartphones reached 85.45%, ranking fifth nationwide.

The province currently has 648,880 fixed broadband subscribers, including 589,848 ones from households... In general, although being home to more than 2.7 million people, the province has had up to 3.2 million mobile phone subscribers using broadband services, nearly 650 thousand fiber optic fixed broadband subscribers and about 3.5 million Smartphone devices. Upon this, the province is ready for the goal of digital transformation.
