Binh Duong ranks third at national Taekwondo tournament for strong clubs

The 2016 National Taekwondo Tournament for Strong Clubs has just taken place in Tay Ninh province.

This year’s tournament absorbed 531 martial artists (286 male, 245 female) from 40 Taekwondo clubs nationwide, competing for 49 sets of medals.

Among participating martial artists, 13 came from Binh Duong. As a result, Binh Duong pocketed 2 gold and 5 bronze medals. The two gold medals went to Dang Thi Truc Mai and Truong Thi Tuyet Mai in the women’s combat event for 42 and 46 kg-weight categories, respectively.

With the above achievement, Binh Duong excellently ranked third at the tournament, thereby further affirming the development of the local Taekwondo tournament.
