Binh Duong excellently won one gold medal and six bronze medals at the 2012 National junior Taekwondo Championship, which was co-held by the Quang Nam provincial Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation.

Six athlethes of Binh Duong were also recognized as “first-class national Taekwondo artists” at the tournamen.

It is known that this year’s tournament lured nearly 600 young martial artists aged between 12 and 20 from 37 units across the country. They were divided into three age categories: 12-14, 15-17 and 18-20 to compete for sets of medals in 18 combat and  performance events.
