As of now, a few of sports venues in the province have reopened after nearly 4 months of closure. Even if being allowed to exercise again at gyms, football fields, table tennis grounds or martial art clubs, all people follow and ensure regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control.
After reopening, most sports establishments in Thu Dau Mot city have well implemented regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control in the "new normal" state such as: Participants must get full two shots of Covid-19 vaccine or the first shot within 14 days, or be recovered F0 cases along with regulation on the number of participants at the same time, with the maximum level of 60. The first sports establishments for reopening are gyms. Here, the owners of these sports facilities are only open to welcome members with year-long membership cards. All must meet requirements on Covid-19 prevention and control as prescribed by functional agencies. Operating with 3 sessions a day, these sports facilities only welcome about 20 people for each session. Along with coaches, the number of people who are present at each session does not exceed 30.
Football players must prove that they have received 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine
Mini-football grounds with artificial grass for five and seven players are the second sports establishments to reopen. In order to ensure regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control, these football grounds are only open for their 7-person football grounds. Thus, at the same time, only nearly 30 people are present on the ground, including players from two teams and service staff. To ensure good distancing and avoid contact, some mini-football grounds have also managed to operate one hour apart for each match. The first match starts at 16:30 pm and ends at 18:00 pm. The second match will start from 19:00 pm to 20:30pm. There is a 1-hour interval for players of the first match to leave and then for those participating in the second match to enter the ground.
Last weekend, table tennis and martial arts clubs also reopened. However, with these two sports, owners of the sports facilities can only welcome 10 people in a training session. All residents to exercise at these facilities must scan QR codes, make medical declarations and give information related to their completion of Covid-19 vaccination or recovery from Covid-19. Reopening after nearly 4 months of closure, most owners of the sports business establishments are happy, but all only welcome participants with prescribed number to ensure Covid-19 prevention and control. This is because they are aware of the danger of the pandemic.
