Binh Duong’s teenagers, children report achievements to Uncle Ho

*200 Uncle Ho’s good children honored

Early November 1, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and Young Pioneer Organization (YPO) held a ceremony reporting achievements to Uncle Ho under the theme of “Fragrant flowers respectfully offer to beloved Uncle Ho” at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh in Ha Noi capital.

The ceremony was attended by outstanding Youth Union and YPO officials together with 100 Uncle Ho’s good children. At the ceremony, provincial YPO reported achievements done by the local children in the YPO movements and learning. The delegation also visited the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, President Ho Chi Minh relic site, Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Hung Kings Temple historical relic site in the northern province of Phu Tho.

This was one of the local children’s significant activities paying deep tribute to the great merits of President Ho Chi Minh and  those who sacrificed their lives for national independence and freedom.

*Prior to that, provincial YPO, on October 31, held the 22nd ceremony honoring Uncle Ho’s good children 2020.

The event was attended by Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Minh Thuy, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Party Commission; Nguyen Thanh Truc, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; leaders of sectors, departments, mass organizations and localities in the province together with 200 Uncle Ho’s good children.

At the ceremony, provincial YPO reported achievements done by the local children over the past 2 years. Accordingly, provincial YPO was appreciated as one of excellent units in the national YPO movements. Provincial YPO and its branches promoted the movement of “Small plan” with 2,000 tons of waste paper, tins worth more than VND1.5billion collected; built 12 “red scarf” houses worth VND700million for needy children; constructed 10 recreational areas worth VND500million; offered nearly 50,000 gifts, scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils…

On this occasion, provincial leaders donated a work of 20,000 red scraves to the local children. The Central Committee of the Youth Union handed over a symbolic board of 2 recreational areas for children. Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and YPO also honored 200 Uncle Ho’s good children.
