Binh Duong’s youths study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings

After four year-implementation of the “Binh Duong’s youths study and follow Uncle Ho’s teaching” campaign, there appeared a lot of substantial models and exemplary role-models.

 One of the campaign’s most highlighted activities was the information dissemination and education work among the local youths, raising their awareness of late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals.

Outstanding youths in the campaign of “Studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings” honored

 Many activities disseminating this campaign were also implemented over the past four years. Particularly, provincial Youth Unions at all levels provided nearly 1,000 books named “Vietnamese youths study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings” for the local propagandists and speakers. The local mass media sped up information dissemination about this campaign. Many contests on Uncle Ho’s exemplary morals were also organized by the local Youth Pioneer Organizations at all levels and Youth Unions at all levels.

 In addition, provincial Youth Unions at all levels praised 1,185 youths for their excellent performance in the campaign between 2008 and 2009. They exhibited nearly 3,000 diaries, books and more than 600 photos following Uncle Ho’s teachings; organized exchanges with outstanding youths and honored outstanding youths following Uncle Ho’s teachings. Nearly 400 bright examples were also discovered via contests named “Bright examples around me”.

Provincial Youth Unions at all levels actively got involved in many works themed “Youths follow Uncle Ho’s teachings”. Especially, they effectively implemented the “Youth Month” over the past time. So far, the whole province has registered and worked out more than 4,250 youth works worth nearly VND9.5bln, absorbing nearly 200,000 youths.

 Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, vice-secretary of provincial Youth Union said that after four-year implementation, the “Binh Duong’s youths study and follow Uncle Ho’s teaching” campaign has made changes in awareness and action of the local youths. Provincial Youth Unions at all levels will further promote this campaign among the local youths in the coming time…
