Binh Duong solemnly organizes Hung King's death anniversary
On April 7 (March 10 of the lunar calendar), Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Province held the Hung Kings' death anniversary ceremony. This event was conducted with full traditional national rituals at the Provincial Museum, reflecting the solemnity and significance of the occasion.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of departments, branches, districts, cities and religious dignitaries, ethnic minorities and a large number of youth union members, students in the province.
Solemn ceremony
For all Vietnamese people who carry the blood of the dragon, the Hung King's commemoration day, observed every third lunar month, holds profound significance. Each year, during this occasion, the Party Committee, government, and citizens of Binh Duong send to Hung Temple sincere hearts and express deep gratitude for the contributions of the Hung Kings who laid the foundations of the nation. Their efforts allow today's descendants to live in prosperity, freedom, and happiness.
During this year's Hung King’s death anniversary, provincial leaders and delegates participated in the incense offerings and presented offerings at the altar of the National Ancestor. As they lit the incense, each individual reflected on the teachings of their ancestors, fostering pride and a commitment to protect and develop the Fatherland into a stronger and more prosperous nation.
In the solemn atmosphere of the Hung Kings' death anniversary, Mr. Bui Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech on behalf of the Party Committee, government, and people of Binh Duong province. He honored the merits of the Hung Kings and reported to the spirit of the National Ancestor on the achievements Binh Duong had attained in 2024.

Accordingly, thanks to the collective efforts of the Party, government, political system, and people from various sectors, along with the business community's contributions, Binh Duong has successfully stabilized and maintained a high growth rate. The province has achieved its set goals and tasks to the highest standard. Social security policies have been implemented effectively, leading to improved living conditions for the residents in both material and spiritual aspects. Political security and social order remain stable. Furthermore, foreign relations and international integration are experiencing practical and innovative advancements. The reorganization of the administrative apparatus is being carried out according to a clear roadmap, ensuring principles of streamlining, effectiveness, and efficiency are upheld.
On this occasion, Provincial Museum coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History to organize a thematic exhibition, "The Hung King Period through Documents and Images". With topics such as: Archaeological relics, the Hung Kings' period State, Hung Kings' worship relics in Vietnam, etc., this thematic exhibition introduced hundreds of meaningful images, documents, and artifacts so that everyone can learn more about the Hung Kings' period. Delegates also attended the ceremony to present a set of lithophones donated by Record Holder - Artisan - Artist Truong Dinh Chieu and Sculptor Nguyen Quoc Thang to Provincial Museum. After receiving, the lithophone set will be displayed in the Provincial Museum to serve people from all walks of life to visit and learn in the future. |
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Minh Tri emphasized that 2025 is a year of special significance, a year of many political events, important milestones of the country; the final year of implementing the five-year socio-economic development plan (2021-2025); the year of acceleration, breakthrough, reaching the finish line; at the same time, it is the year focusing on organizing Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; the entire political system focuses on the arrangement of the apparatus "streamlined - compact - strong - effective - efficient and effective" to join the whole country in entering "a new era - an era of striving, developing prosperously for the nation".

Animated festival
In addition to the ceremony, within the framework of this year's Hung King's death anniversary, the Provincial Museum also held a festival with exciting and joyful activities co-organized by People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City, Provincial Youth Union and related units.
Also on March 10, at Hung Temple - Hon Viet Spiritual Cultural Area - Binh Duong Cemetery Park (Ben Cat City), Chanh Phu Hoa Construction Investment Joint Stock Company held the Hung King's death anniversary 2025. This event was conducted in a solemn atmosphere that conveyed the respect and gratitude of generations of children for their ancestors' contributions to building and defending the country.

Through this activity, we aim to review the esteemed traditions of the Party Committee, government, and the people of Binh Duong province, as well as Ben Cat city, who have continuously strived to promote solidarity, overcoming difficulties and challenges to make Binh Duong increasingly prosperous and beautiful.
At the same time, a Hung King's death anniversary took place at Bung Cu communal house in Tan Phuoc Khanh ward, Tan Uyen city. This festival included the rituals of offering Chung cake and Tet cake to King Hung, as a prayer for national peace, prosperity, and the happiness of the people. It is an annual event celebrated each year at Bung Cu communal house.
