In 2017, Binh Duong sports team eyed delight as they have attended 129 tournaments including 26 internationals, 68 nationals, and 35 regionals and extendeds to win 685 medals including 202 gold, 194 silver, and 289 bronze (by 106% of expectation for the year). Specifically at SEA Games 29, Binh Duong has contributed by winning 2 gold and 4 bronze medals.

Besides, Binh Duong Province has actively organized and coordinated to organize 2 international tourmanentsof female cycling and 3-cushion billiards carom, 3 national tournaments of Judo, Vovinam, and long-run cycling, 4 regional tournaments of chess of all ages, Karatedo, sports dances.
