On the second working day of the 16th session of the 10th Binh Duong Provincial People's Council, after answering questions from leaders of departments and branches, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, addressed some concerns of delegates and voters.

After receiving and answering opinions and recommendations of the Provincial People's Council delegates and voters at the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh analyzed and evaluated the achieved results, limitations and causes in carrying out socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security tasks in the first 6 months of 2024.

Deeply analyze groups of opinions and recommendations of voters and delegates sending to the meeting, issues on economic growth, public investment, and allocation of public investment capital for the cultural - social sectors; backlog problems in real estate projects; issuance of land use right certificate; implementation of the project of classifying household solid waste at source, social security, transportation..., were seriously evaluated by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; he clarified the causes and suggested solutions in the future.

As explaining the overload of enrollment at all levels of public schools, while building a reasonable educational development plan in each area, Mr. Minh said that although the province has paid attention to building schools and investing in material facilities, it cannot meet the demands of students, especially in localities with many industrial zones such as: Thuan An City, Di An City, Ben Cat City…

In the immediate future, to solve this problem, the province directed the education training branch to implement many solutions, such as streamlining students at the beginning of school levels; allocating budget to invest in school projects according to priority lists; and doing a good job of socialization, encouraging investors to pay attention and invest in education and training...

The Provincial People's Committee has proposed solutions to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security in 2024. In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to implement plans to realize the Government's resolutions, directions of the Prime Minister, ministries, central branches, and the Provincial Party Standing Committee; firmly grasp the situation; analyze, forecast, and build economic growth scenarios for the third quarter and the whole year 2024 to have appropriate solutions; and strongly promote economic growth.

Regarding the issue of solving and ensuring the issuance of land use rights certificates to households, Mr. Minh basically agrees with reports and explanation of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment at the questioning session.

However, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, branches and localities need to coordinate and focus on directing, solving, guiding and reviewing each specific issue and project to promptly make proposals.

In the immediate future, it is necessary to urgently develop and promulgate according to authority or submit to competent authorities for promulgation of contents detailing and guiding the implementation of the Land Law; ensure timeliness, synchronization, consistency, effectiveness and efficiency; some documents under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee must be issued in the third and fourth quarters of 2024.

Strict implementation of solutions

At the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh highlighted the importance of addressing the challenges and progressively implementing the project to classify household solid waste at its source, given the significant interest expressed by both delegates and voters.

To effectively carry out the classification, collection, processing and meet the set progress and goals, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to well carry out propaganda; focus on renovating and upgrading solid waste transportation and classification vehicles to meet technical requirements according to regulations; urgently develop unit prices for domestic solid waste collection, transportation and treatment services...

In addition to explaining and reporting results to delegates on some issues that voters proposed many times, Mr. Minh also absorbed the opinions of delegates who spoke at the discussion session.
