According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), Binh Duong took lead in FDI attraction in the first four months of 2022, with total registered capital of nearly US$2.35billion, accounting for 21.7% of the country’s total registered capital and 4.9 times higher than the same period last year.
Bac Ninh province ranked second with total investment capital of nearly US$1.57 billion while Ho Chi Minh city ranked third with total registered investment capital of nearly US$ 1.28 billion.
Among the countries and territories investing in Binh Duong during the period, Denmark took the lead with a large-scale Lego project capitalized at US$1.3 billion, accounting for 54.7 % of the province’s total investment capital in Binh Duong. It was followed by China with nearly US$ 254 million or 10.5% of total; Hong Kong with over US$ 50.7 million, or 2.1% of total.
